Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
In short
Lycanthropia is an online werewolf game. We collect the minimum needed to run the game: your account, your username, your games and your purchases. We sell no data, and there are no ads and no third-party trackers on the site.
Who is responsible?
The data controller is Quentin Bretelle, a sole trader operating under the trade name Antre Digital (SIREN 940 308 737), in Chauvigny (86), France. For any question about your data: contact@lycanthropia.gg.
The data we collect
- Account: email address and password (hashed, never readable by us), or, if you use Google, Discord or Twitch sign-in, the email and basic profile provided by that service.
- Game profile: username, selected characters and items, Loudors balance (the game's virtual currency).
- In-game activity: games played and messages sent in the chat (kept for running the game and for moderation).
- Purchases: the history of your Loudors purchases. The payment itself is processed by Stripe: your card number never passes through our servers and is never stored there.
- Technical data: cookies needed for the site to work (see “Cookies”) and technical security logs.
Why we use it
- Providing the game: accounts, lobbies, games, chat.
- Processing purchases and crediting Loudors.
- Ensuring security and moderation (anti-spam, abusive behaviour).
- Meeting our legal obligations (invoicing).
Legal bases (GDPR): performance of the contract between us when you use the game, our legitimate interest in security and moderation, and our legal obligations for invoicing.
Who it is shared with
Only with the technical providers that run the service, each for its own part:
- Supabase: database and authentication.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Railway: real-time game server hosting.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Cloudflare: anti-bot check (Turnstile) on sign-in pages.
- Google: only if you choose Google sign-in.
- Discord: only if you choose Discord sign-in.
- Twitch: only if you choose Twitch sign-in.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union; they then rely on recognised safeguards (standard contractual clauses). We never sell or rent your data to anyone.
How long
- Account and profile: as long as your account exists.
- Chat messages: as long as needed to run the game and for moderation.
- Billing data: applicable legal periods (up to 10 years).
Cookies
The site only uses cookies and local storage needed for it to work, which don't require your consent:
- Sign-in session: keeping you signed in (Supabase).
- Language and time zone: showing the site in your language and game times in your local time.
- Game settings: volume, graphics quality, kept on your device (local storage).
- Security: the anti-bot check on sign-in pages (Cloudflare Turnstile).
- Payment: Stripe's fraud prevention, set only when you open a payment.
No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics trackers: that's why there is no cookie banner. The site's fonts are served by the site itself, without going through a third-party service.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can request access to, correction, deletion or portability of your data, as well as restriction of or objection to its processing. Write to us at contact@lycanthropia.gg: we will reply within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
You can delete your account and all associated data yourself, from Settings > Account, or ask us at the same address.
Minimum age
Lycanthropia is intended for players 15 and older. If you are under 15, the consent of a parent or guardian is required to create an account.
Changes
This policy may change along with the game. The last update date is shown at the top of the page; in case of a significant change, we will let you know on the site.
This policy is written in French. It may be offered in other languages to make it easier to read; if a translation differs from the French version, the French version prevails.
